Cinco de Mayo is one of the most important celebrations for the Mexican people. This date commemorates the triumph of the Mexican Army against the French and Austrian invaders. Mexican cities are decorated with ribbons and flags; There are impressive parades, beautiful fireworks, folkloric dances, and delicious food! Join in the joyous celebration and see how Mexicans have fun when they have a Fiesta! 

This program also includes the 16 Septiembre El Grito de Independencia, Mexico's Independence Day.  It  explains the history of this very important date as well as how it is celebrated nowadays.
