 ¡Viva Mexico! ¡Viva Hidalgo! ¡Viva Morelos! ¡Viva la Independencia!

Welcome to our new issue of Mexico Newsletter

September is Mexico's Mes de la Patria, National Month, and for that reason, nearly every street in Mexico is now decorated with red, white and green ribbons,  flags, images of our heroes and our National Emblem,  celebrating our Independence.

We hope you enjoy reading about 16 de Septiembre the Independence Fiesta, about Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, Father of our Independence, and some facts and history regarding the Mexican War of Independence.

We are also including a delightful column written by two young Mexican girls living in Miami: Itziar and Maite Diez-Canedo.  They will tell us about their experiences living in the U.S.

You will also find interesting articles about:  Pablo’s Mayan Mural, Marcelo’s Graduation Party, the lyrics to the ¡Viva México! song...

  So, let's start celebrating!

Our Newsletters are the perfect complement to our Videos about Mexico and the Mexican Culture.
